The term ‘historic vehicle’ is applied to the categories listed below. While these are not definitive they are identified in the Beaulieu website. A ‘classic car‘ is generally regarded as a vehicle older than 25 years
Veteran – pre 1918
Vintage – 1919-1930s
Classic – 1940s to 1990s
Modern classic (often including particularly noteworthy vehicles) – 1995 to 2010
